Bukchon Hanok Village

Overview

Bukchon Hanok Village is a traditional Korean village located in the heart of Seoul. The village features over 900 traditional houses, called hanoks, and offers visitors a glimpse into Korean history and culture. The village has many narrow alleyways and winding streets, making it a popular spot for tourists to explore.

The hanoks in Bukchon Hanok Village date back to the Joseon Dynasty and have been preserved to maintain their original architectural style. Visitors can explore the village and learn about the lifestyle and customs of Koreans during the Joseon Dynasty.

There are many workshops, restaurants, and cultural centers in the village, making it an excellent place to experience Korean culture. Visitors can also try on traditional Korean clothing, called hanbok, and take photos in the village.
